Shimano RT-CL800 Disc Rotor 203mm Ice-Tech Center Lock

Shimano RT-CL800 Centrelock Disc Brake Rotor 203mm External Serration

With a focus on decreasing disc brake rotor heat deformation, the result of the new disc brake rotor is quieter than ever brake performance without sacrificing weight or heat dissipation.

Quieter than ever, but with superb, consistent braking performance on any long, steep descents thanks to excellent heat dissipation

The new arm shape is more robust, leading to quieter operation

The CENTER LOCK system makes an easy rotor installation possible with spline mount and a lock ring. The lock ring mounting system reduces the total working hours by shortening the amount of time of both installation and de-installation. In addition, the secure fixing by the spline mount enhances precision and rigidity while improving braking efficiency.

Benefits & Features

• Light weight
• Center Lock compatible hub has only spline mount and a lock ring. This means the lightweight of hub and rotor compared to 6-bolt mount system.
• Lock ring rotor mounting system
• Allows easier and faster rotor installation. Easy maintenance.
• Secure fixing by spline mount
• Improves braking efficiency.

ICE TECHNOLOGIES FREEZA rotors utilize the 3-layer stainless steel-aluminum-stainless steel sandwich structure to reduce heat buildup. The inner aluminum layer extends inward with a wide exposed radiator fin that boosts its cooling capabilities.

Stay Cool. Keep Quiet. Stop Faster.
ICE TECHNOLOGIES FREEZA rotors deliver next-level braking performance, surpassing our already exceptional ICE TECHNOLOGIES rotors. Their heat-dissipating radiator fins help keep things cooler in extreme conditions to provide stable stopping power with less brake fade and noise.

Aluminum radiator fins boost cooling capabilities to enhance braking performance
ICE TECHNOLOGIES FREEZA rotors feature an extended inner aluminum layer with wide, exposed radiator fins that boost cooling capabilities.

Shimano ICE TECHNOLOGIES FREEZA rotors offer an impressive 100°C (212°F) reduction in heat build-up compared to standard stainless-steel rotors and a 40℃ (104°F) reduction in heat buildup compared to our ICE TECHNOLOGY rotors. Our premium rotors also feature a special heat dissipation paint on the fins that can further reduce heat buildup by 10℃ (50F°).
