Shimano 105 FD-R7150 DI2 Front Derailleur

The FD-R7150 Di2 is the first electronic 2-speed front derailleur released by Shimano for the 105 road bike series. It weighs only about 30 grams more than the comparable Ultegra model. You benefit from ground-breaking innovations such as the Synchro Shift mode, in which the front derailleur automatically selects the appropriate chainring depending on the position of the rear derailleur. This makes the shifting process much easier and you can devote your full attention to the riding experience. Or you can go for Semi-Synchro Shift and still operate the front derailleur, but rely on the automatic adjustment of the rear derailleur. This avoids large gear changes and keeps your rhythm consistent. The FD-R7150 has a total capacity of 16 teeth and is compatible with large chainrings up to a maximum of 52 teeth and a chainline of 44.5 mm. It is designed for solder-on mounting, but with the help of a suitable adapter it can also be installed on the frame using a clamp. You connect it to the battery via a cable, which in turn is also connected to the rear derailleur. The inner parallelogram and the deflectors of the front derailleur are made of steel, the outer parallelogram is made of durable composite material to save weight.
